The Beginning
In 1996, Mark C. Meister started Dominion Homes in Amarillo, Texas with a staff of one, and a determination to build quality custom homes. This determination combined with his commitment to quality forms the foundation of growth that this company continues to see.
Mark attended a degree program in Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and built homes in San Antonio before coming to Amarillo. He started Dominion Homes here in Amarillo and named it after the exclusive sub division in San Antonio called “The Dominion.”
Dominion Homes LP builds a variety of home styles covering a broad price range designed to meet the needs of first-time homebuyers, move-up homebuyers and retirees.
Dominion Homes LP features impressive exteriors, innovative floor plans, and custom features not found in other builders’ homes.
Mark builds each custom home as unique as the individual owners. It’s not unusual for him to sit down with the client when all they have is a rough sketch. Mark does preliminary drawings and pricing, then fine tunes for the client’s desires. Mark is involved directly in each phase of construction from design to decorating.
